After 130 years, the Julius Roehrs Company is proud to be one
of the largest and longest established tropical nurseries in
the northeast, and has also been in the forefront of interior
landscape design and installation since its inception in the
mid-nineteenth century.
Today, at our 86-acre complex in Monmouth County, in central New Jersey, we
grow and acclimate most of all the plant material we use indoors. Our extensive
greenhouse facility, encompassing more than 200,000-square feet of growing
space under glass, contains one of the largest selections of ornamental flora
ready for use anywhere in the United States. Plants in all sizes from the smallest
ground cover to 20' specimen trees are found here in abundance.
